they war to run hospitals like organizations with managers being paid far too a lot and little or no expertise of what's fairly required, and there are far too many directors. With the onset of pcs, the different marketplace has managed to shrink admin team down by 0.5 - yet no longer the NHS eh? There are nevertheless no longer sufficient human beings easily doing the genuine artwork mandatory in hospitals, so that you get dirty flooring, dirty beds and under no circumstances sufficient cleansing. i imagine it is honest to assert that waiting lists have were given extra ideal, and your extra in all probability to get treatment now than in '97, yet it is not any solid in case you come back out of well being facility extra ill than you went in. purely throwing funds at a situation does no longer artwork, it ought to be invested 'intently'. I do not forget that the NHS can purely pass to particular drug providers, and it may purely purchase needed kit from particular providers too. those providers value the NHS 2-3 cases the actual marketplace value of the products they purchase. even as the hot wards / homes get outfitted or repaired, they could purely be outfitted by particular contractors which have extra center men than there ought to be, those center men take wide cuts of the money, and back the progression artwork value 2-3 cases better than it ought to.also they're going to make nurses do a level now, and which will upload even extra to the NHS bill.... and is not any longer an significant requirment in my humble opinion. My answer must be to reduce admin team, and allow extra flexibility to apply providers and any developers they prefer, purely see you later as they get 'value for funds' and the popular remains solid and in good structure for purpose..

It is a travesty how the impovershed are medically treated.
The standard procedure for monitary reasons (yeh insurance) is that if you can walk out of an emergancy room they 'recommend you' to a high dollar specialist. Billing goes up and up the pyramid is upside down.
the emergancy room is the only place you can go without cash.
So, if you are genuinly sick and you have no money you are forced to treat yourself by visiting the emergancy room. Here is a cylce where they bill you extrodinary amounts of money for sub par service. I could give a human a hundo and tell them to kick me in the nuts, service is about the same.
The problem is not the staff, they care. It is the corporate level players working in conjunction with the insurance industry to suck us all dry like a leach.
Then, they got the pharmacuetical companies doing the same thing? Its a tri-fecta-cluster-f***.
Medicine should be done by those who want to do it, and available to all of those who need it.

In Wales it is the National Assembly. I work in a neurology ward & the money which is set aside for hospitals has supposed to have increased. However, the stocks of essential stock has gone down. We are unable to order sufficiant stocks of various nursing items. Wards are closing in my hospital due to lack of money. One small re-hab hospital is closing. A ward in the local psychiatric hospital is closing. Even the ward receptionist has to ask permission from the head of department to order simple things as computer/photocopying paper. Student nurses are completing three years of training and there is no job at the end of it! The main problem is, there are too many damned managers!. Last year, two new managerial posts were created in my trust. One for £100,000 per year, & the other for £70,000 per year. The Chief executive of the trust is on £169,000 per year for God's sake. This is where the money is going, and it is being taken from the wards etc where it is meant to go. Sorry to go on, but it really get's my goat up,when these pen-pushers receive all this money, & patient care suffers!
