It was Herschal Walker. It wasn't exactly 14 players for 1. The Cowboys used the draft choices of the Vikings to trade down and ended up with 14 players.

I don't know of a 14 player trade. I do know of a 9 player trade. This was Ollie Matson was traded from the Cardinals to the Rams for nine players in '59.
Also, Herschel Walker, was traded from Minnesota to Dallas for five players and seven draft picks in '89. Sorry, don't know the (traded) player names
