To a body piercer: Will applying neosporin and pinching my ear lobe remove a bump I have there?

I went to a piercing place and thats what the lady told me... I find it hard to believe though lol.

the bump is from where i removed my earring and it closed.

i dont know im not a body piercer though ive had a bump around the hole ever sience i got my ears pierced i dont know y its there

i think most people have that bump, i would believe that neosporin would help, i'd give it a try
