you can take a pregnancy test the day of your missed period, they have new ones where they can detect it sooner, but since you've already passed that date, any test should work fine, but if you get a negative, and still don't get your period in a couple days, I'd phone the dr.'s office and get an appointment for a blood test, or see if there are any free health clinics where you are that could give you a test.
the symptoms are pretty tricky, since many resemble a period, so really, can't base it on those :)

okay symptoms vary.. you could start disliking the smell of some foods and be literally sick to your stomach by your favorites. Your breasts start to swell some and are very tender. You may feel nausous frequently and begin to throw up any time during the day. When I was pregnant I made the mistake of drinking hot coffee and following it with a cold yogurt and literally had to speeeeeeeeed to the bathroom, so not a good idea to mix cold and hots immediately... they may come right back up. Ofcourse if you miss your period by more than a week that may be a first indication. Any of these can start to take place just one month into your pregnancy. take the test the first day of your missed period to get a true answer. there are no true "early" symptoms that are reliable. all of the signs of early pregnancy can also be signs of an impending period. just do a test.

Frankly, here's what I think: If you are old enough to be in the internet and typing, you're old enough to know what protection is. I hope you are not pregnant and if you think you are, go to a doctor and take a urine test or get EPT or something. THEN, if not, get on the damn pill and start knowing for sure !

Well If your period hasnt come on thats why you should learn to keep yo legs close...Dont you know if you have sex during your period you can get a disease because of the blood transaction....Now Its onli one way to know if you're pregenant well actually 2.But If he nut up then honey you is pregenant...If you know that I think you should go get a pregenancy test asap
