I run long distance. About the second mile, I need to pour water on my head or I will get sick. I drink plenty of water and eat a good amount of salt before I go, but wow! I really overheat!

some ppl are just naturally hot blooded. depends on the condition where your running, relative humidity, all of that. like my body temperature i know for a fact is higher than average, im usually at 99-100, which doesnt seem like a lot, but it makes a big difference so im always hot no matter what. just pace urself

Sorry, I would be better able to answer if you were a motorcycle.

Have you tried electrlyte drinks?

Personally I think fresh juice is great for everything. Carrot, orange, lemon, cucumber. Not bottled. Might help. Great enzymes and nutrients in it. Not too filling.

I don't think pouring water on your head is unusual. Lots do it as well I am sure.

maybe you are drinking to much water and you have burned all the sugars out of your body...maybe think about drinking Gatorade or some sort of sports drink with sugars in it. It also makes you less dehydrated
