Some sites may allow you to pay by check, but you will have to mail them a check before they will ship your merchandise, which kind of defeats the purpose of shopping online.
An alternitive would be PayPal, although you still need to use a credit card, the person who you buy from never sees your credit card information, and so it is much safer than simply using a credit card.

Yes there is a book site online that accepts nothing but money orders.
I've used them 6 or 7 times and never had a problem.

Yes some places except online checks or let you send checks or money orders but you have to wait until the check clears the bank or the money orders or received. a couple of places even have cod. What exactly were you looking for?
