I had rebound sinus congestion. I was sick of it and the "cure" was surgery.
So, I went to an acupuncturist a friend told me about.
After one session, I found relief. After a few months of going, I feel "cured" and it isn't painful, it isn't invasive... it IS however expensive.
I feel SO relaxed when I am there and it is a therapy for my whole body, not just my sinuses. It's great. I really trust the doctor.

Yes, it was the best experience of my life. I highly recommend it. I took 10 sessions at 30 minutes each and my entire being improved: mental outlook, skin, thoughts, hair, weight-- it was fantastic. In fact, I think I'll go in again soon for a "tune up"- it is the most balancing, calming, invigorating thing I've ever done. Forget spas and massage- go for this!

I haven't personally had acupuncture, but I know three people with chronic illnesses (two MS and one EDS) who have both improved greatly because of it. They started out really skeptical about it, but willing to give anything a shot if it'd ease the pain, and it turned out to work really well for all three of them. Their symptoms have been reduced significantly and the progress of their diseases has slowed. It's pretty neat. :)

I've gone for pain. It's really affective in alleviating pain. Just be cautious of accupucture scams.

YES, it's wonderful....at least for pain. I agree though, be careful and find a reputable accupuncturist.
