they are both soo cute and your hearing this from a sixteen year old but age is JUST a number soo anyways its my lil sisters birthday next week and soo she loves both but i just cant decide which plush toy, movie, etc. to get for her!!PLEASE HELP!!!!

While I like Carebears better Spongebob may be the choice for a Birthday party theme.. Mainly because your mainstream Supermarket Bakeries have more Spongebob stuff in stock.. I also say Spongebob if it's a Coed birthday party.. If it's a girls slumberparty I say Carebears.. If it's just the Plush Stuffed toy !! Care Bear !!! They have a better vintage value.. they are already 20 somthing years old.. But I'm watching the dollar as well as the enjoyment factor.. What little girl doesn't want a Carebear!! About like asking what little boy does not want G.I.Joe..

Since she likes both, I would still recommend SpongeBob because a Carebears plush toy would almost be the same thing as a teddy bear. Oh, and SpongeBob is more popular, so SpongeBob Squarepants merchandise might be easier to find.

Maybe you could get a little bit of both.Like maybe the SpongeBob Movie and the Plush CareBear. Or you could get her both movies and plush toys or the other way around!! Good Luck!!!

I say carebears! They teach caring and sharing and all the good cuddly stuff! Plus I loved Carebears when i was young! She will learn more from the carebears cause at the end of every episode they have a moral of the story. Sponge Bob is just silly with no true lessons.

Carebears... they are so much more magical and inspire imagination... Get a movie and they sell little carebears at the dollar store for a dollar!!!
I LOVE SpongeBob... I almost suggested him but Carebears would be a lot more fun to play with.

How old is your sister gonna be? if she's 1-5 i would suggest a carebear toy if she's 6 and above i would suggest a spongebob toy.

Carebears are way better. I played with and watched the original ones. Another favorite of mine back then was My Little Ponies and now our daughter is playing with those.
I cant stand Spongebob, it seems geared more towards late teens/adults to me. Its not appropriate for young children and its not allowed in our household AT ALL.
