When people wax, i know that it removes the first layer of skin, but does it leave it with a shade, or a different color than it was before? If it does then, in which areas, lyk upper lip, sides, eye brows, or legs?

It doesn't change the color of the skin at all. It actually does not remove any layer of the skin. What it does remove is dead skin cells. If it was removing a layer of your skin, your actual skin yould be ripping off! lol...even though the pain probably makes you feel that way...the only think it's really removing is the dead cells which are loose and laying over the skin which is still healthy.

That's why your skin feels so soft afterwards...not only is the hair gone...but all that junky dead skin as well!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it removed ten layers of skin, it hurts so damned bad, but really, it'll just leave your skin red for a while.

If you're going to wax your face, do it the night before you go anywhere. The irritation will be gone by morning.

When I get waxed I have never seen a color change except for the redness a little bit afterwards.

Waxing gets all the finepeach fuzz hair and it slightly irrates the top layer of skin.

so people feel discomfort and have some redness. But, it goes away with anti-septic like seabreeze or skin so soft.

Good luck waxer!!

you have no idea how think our skin is, you ever peeled it and help it up to light? its transperant and sheer thin, so when you wax it may pick a lil skin off but it wouldnt be noticeable because the picment is within many layers of the skin so just pullin off some of one wont make that much of a difference, its barely noticeble!

I have never seen that. Also if you use a sugar wax like nads you can avoid that . It takes the hair only.

It just turns it red from irritation at first. It fades.
