My brand of shampoo is different than my brand of conditioner. Is this ok or should they be the same brand?

i think that this shouldn't be much of a monumental factor, but I recommend you try the same product. A brand composes the shampoo and conditioner to correspond with each other to make ur hair have the maximum potential possible. Even if u do utilize different brands try to find products that complement ur hair quality. (dry, etc.)

i think that its not going to make a short term difference...but after a while it you may want to find a conditioner and shampoo that are the same brand! but make sure that you are changing your shampoo every two months! i learned it in modeling that your hair gets immune to the shampoo and after a while it starts not to work as effectively and then your hair is barely getting washed! hope this helps you!

technically it shouldn't matter....but a word of advice: try to stick to the same brand for shampoo and conditioner. My recommendations: Finesse or Pantene Pro V

It doesn't matter. Usually, brands are made to work together but you usually get the same effect.

If you read the shampoo ingredients, you will find they are mostly the same stuff.

Nothing wrong with it unless the perfumes/scents contrast too much.
