im trying to paste my own pictures to a webpage of mine but i dont know how to obtain a pictures url or its address.. this is all confusing to me can someone please help me and tell me what to do or what it means.. . or better yet.. both!!??. thanks in advance

Url = uniform resource locator.in otherwords the address www. ect ect .com
Firstly for ease, make a new folder on the desktop (right click>newfolder) give it a name, copy all the photos you ant o go on the web to that folder.
Go to your web page if you have it, where it says upload picture, click on it and go to your new folder on the desktop, then click on the pic you want to upload. then do it again ect till all of them are there...easy isnt it

There are a few ways to get a picture URL. Here are some of them:
1) Right click the image, and go to properties. It should display the image URL. (If you have an option to 'copy image location', that will copy the URL of the image to the clipboard. Paste it somewhere with edit->paste or ctrl+v).
2) View the page source, and find the URL of the image there.
3) Save the image to your computer. Now, upload it to an image hosting site (photobucket, image shack, etc). It should give you a URL to the image.
Option 1 is probably the best (and easiest). All 3 should work.
Edit: I misread the question. You should just upload the image to an image hosting site. They will give you the url. The html code to turn an image into a link is:

You have to sign up with an uploading site (its free dont worry) a good one is Photobucket.com
Then once there you just upload your photos from your computer and it will give you the url address for the pictures.

you need to use a photo hosting site like www.photobucket.com
just upload the pictures from your desktop/computer onto the site and there will be a url for the pictures so it's clickable
you can send them that way

goto photo bucket. you can load the picture on there and they will give you an HTML code.
