You say up to 23 weeks a fetus is only a parasite? Well here's what a 23 week old fetus looks like, now please don't even make me laugh by saying that that is only a parasite. Don't even bother telling me that bullcrap. What do you all think? Is that a parasite to you?

I heard my sons heartbeat when I was 8 weeks pregnant with him. I cried. When did you ever hear a parasite's heartbeat? I'm not big on calling people names, but that guy is just a stupid moron! A parasite doesn't have an emotional bond with it's host. I loved my son from the time I found out about him. To feel a baby kick.... it's the best feeling a woman or man could ever feel. I don't understand people like that. They are just ignorant people.

Hmm, not really, the parasitic anology makes perfect sense. The baby feeds off you and takes up residence in your own body. It seems very odd, and very much like parasite. (Parasites can also live outside the body and on the skin, which could be likened to breast-feeding.) I don't think he was saying that the fetus looks like a parasite, but ultimately acts like a parasite.

I always imagined pregnancy to be very much like the aliens that gestate inside the humans and then burst out through the chest in the Alien movies.

The funny thing is, I'd like to have children someday. I've talked with my mother about my opinions about pregnancy, and she has agreed with me, but that when you are actually pregnant it doesn't feel weird, but very natural. At least it did for her.

My friend's triplets were just born at 24 weeks and believe me, as small as they are, they were not parasites a week ago. They are tiny, beautiful human beings who have been that way for quite a while.

When I was pregnant I told my doctor that I was hungry and tired all the time and he said that I have a *parasite* growing inside of me. I did not take offense.

HES AN IDIOT......LIKE I SAID ON YOUR PREVIOUS POST...A BABY'S HEARTBEAT CAN BE DETECTED BY VAGINAL ULTRASOUND AT 6 WEEKS. THE BABY IS FIRST A ZYGOTE, THEN AN EMBRYO, AND LASTLY A FETUS. hES JUST PLAIN STUPID TO EVEN COMPARE THE TWO.
