Bonds said hes coming back next yr and probably means he gonna break the home run record....with the rate a-rod and pujols is going who has the better chance of break the record or does anyone besides them have a chance?

Given steroid testing is going to be that much stricter, I doubt anyone can top 755. I even think Bonds will fall short.
I mean, it is incredibly hard to take that leap from 500 HRs up thru the 600s to 700s. Look how many have done it in MLB history.
Even so, let's see Bonds try to top Oh's 868 HRs.

I think A-rod has the best chance. He has 450 homers now and he still has maybe 10 years left. If he hits 30-35 (that's not a lot) homers a year then he'll be the home run king. Pujols is still young and can do it too, but you never know so Alex is the best bet.

It's still iffy if Bonds (at the current rate) will even make 755.
Many younger players that are emerging are still far away from 500, nonetheless 700. Many will not even reach that because few will have late resurgences in their careers, much like Bonds. The ones who are the most likely at this point are Albert Pujols and Alex Rodriguez.

Not Bonds. David Wright has a shot. A-Rod and Pujols should. It will be close as Wright and Pujols are young and A-Rod is charging.

Forget A-Rod. He's on his way down. Pujlois is certainly going to break Ruth's record; Bonds is all done.

I'm not sure but I thought I heard that if A-Rod keeps up what he has been doing and stays healthy he will for sure break the record.

Bonds should be erased. He is a druggie and an embarrassment to the game. You expect drinking and carousing out or ball players, but he is a disgrace. ANYWAY - I really hope Pujols takes it. He is a solid player. Not to mention he looks great in his uniform.

A-Rod will pass Aaron.I hope that Bonds doesn't break it, even if he never gets caught using steroids there will always be controversy surrounding him.
