i think you have to be crazy to hunt down and kill your kids one by one... she needs to go to a place that will never let her out again to breed and kill again just my opinion what is yours?

The legal definition of insanity in Texas does not allow for the possibility that she knew it was wrong to kill her children, but that she was powerless to control the urge to kill them. Most civilized court systems recognize the inability to control your actions as a common symptom of mental illness. Keeping her locked up for a long time in an institution for the criminally insane works for me.

One of the things that struck me during her trial was how she described a visual hallucination (I forget specifically what she had mentioned). Anyway, you don't see visual hallucinations in someone with mental illness. That's something you really only see in a person with a severe organic problem like a brain tumor and occassionally someone whose brain is destroyed by alcoholism. Someone who was faking might think a visual hallucination would lend weight to their case but not know that visual hallucinations are extremely unlikely in someone who was psychotic.
I think she is faking.

That lady is crazy, it's not like they were all babies, the poor things must have put up a struggle. She is evil, not crazy. Do you think my mom or any woman who gives birth can do that to her child? I say lock her up for good!
