Well they really say in your 5th week of pregnancy that when you can take a pregnancy and get a positive result because in your 5th week you relase alot of the hormone needed to get a positive result.

When I was pregnant with my 3rd daughter. I knew that I was pregnant, I could feel a change in my body. I took pregnancy tests for almost 6wks before I got a positive result. I went to see my dr and I was 5 wks pregnant. I got a negative result at least 3 times before I got a postive one. It all depends on how long it takes your body to process the pregnancy hormone through your system before your pregnancy will show up .

Yes, my positive result was on the day that I was supposed to get my period. I had taken another test a week before that & it was negative.

A friend of mine didn't get a positive on a home pregnancy test until she was in her second month. Everyone is different. Call your dr and see if they can do a blood test
