I'm not familiar with zispin, but it sounds as though one or another of the meds is causing you to retain water...or it's possible it's due to whatever condition they are trying to treat. I'd bring this up to the doctor to be sure that it's normal.

Pitting edema has numerous causations. Some as simple as not using the muscles of the leg sufficiently, to force the blood back up the leg. Then it can indicate much more serious conditions also.. Your age becomes a factor and it has been left out.. It is difficult for your doctor to make a diagnosis until he makes some evaluations and at least has some form of history.. Expecting an answer from someone on line may lead you in the wrong direction.

sounds like you're retaining water. Oddly, the best way to flush out retained fluids is to drink a lot of water because your body is holding the fluids in the wrong way and you can easily become dehydrated. Try cold compresses and elevate your legs whenever possible and that should help as well. Good luck
