I'm looking for a specific cartoon series and movie called Lady Oscar but can't find any SA shopping website with it. It is a fantasic series writen by Ikeda Riyoko. I watched a few series at Madeira Island when I went on holiday but came back to SA. I was hooked, and now i have to get it. but where? Which website sells everything, even very old movies (from 1979) and cartoon series from japan and still pay in South African currency? (or where can i get it downloaded from?).

I'm a South African and live in Korea. I know the movie.

There is a way you can find this dvd. Just go to your local music store and ask them to order it for you. I have done this a couple of times in both South Africa and Korea.

Music stores usually sell dvd's as well, but if they don't you can try video shops. It will cost a little more.

And you should also ask for this dvd by the other name it goes by. Some stores overseas may have it under another name.
The story is also known as "The Rose of Versailles".

And you can download the game from...

Hope you find this information useful!

Never heard of the series you are talking about, however I lived in South Africa and moved to the UK last year, and understand how frustrating it is not to find decent service in SA.
Your first stop should be: www.kalahari.net
Which are probably the biggest, and you can put in a request to have it especially ordered. (Their service really sucks)
Option 2, go to www.amazon.co.uk and order it there, delivery to your door within 2 weeks (even in SA)
Option 3, download it, which may be illegal, but since you live in a country where it is number one for rape and number one for murders by firearms, maybe it's not too much of an issue to download one dvd? Source: http://www.nationmaster.com/country/sf-south-africa

Check out a program called Emule, open source for downloading stuff.

Cheers

Thats the problem in living in the 3rd World. You will have to get it internationally and pay in their currency.
