I think Oprah is highly overrated. She is only a talk show host and I don't ever watch her. I could care less if she is gay.

No oprah is not gay. i have a best friend also we have been friends since 7th grade we are now 46 years old. Sometimes we spend time together and there are times when I dont see her for a while. But we always manage to met up with each other. Oprah and Gail are good friends like family. People are always going to look for the ugly rarely do you see them talking about the good. I am glad I have my friend we have been through good and tough times and she is the one that I am not afraid to tell her things because I know she will not judge me and she never treats me like she is better. I am mexican,spanish and american and we love to have great friends. Oprah and Gail are the same but African American Woman and it's great that they can share there lives with one another. You know there are some things that only your best girlfriend knows about you. Some things we dont talk about with men. That's just the way it is. Oprah is far from gay and she is a lady that has worked hard all her life. I am proud of oprah she has come a long ways. She is a surviver and a role model for all kinds of women..

OMG. Smilingontime, are you for real???? Just because she doesn't have kids, it doesn't make her automatically gay! And, I take offense at the fact that just because my ovaries work that it means I have to use them!

I don't know if oprah is gay or not, and it really doesn't matter. What she gives to society is so vital and important, and wouldn't change if she was having sex with a tree, as far as I'm concerned.

What is it that a lot of us say in the glbt community? It isn't only our sexuality that makes us who we are.

I don't think so, though it could be. She and Gail are close, and the Stedman Graham thing has never rung the right notes for me to find it believable.

But it always kind of bugs me that people feel as though they have to KNOW whether this celebrity or that is gay or bi or whatever. I mean it's not like she's going to ask YOU out, gay bi or straight. Her orientation is her own business, and if she IS gay, and wants to the world to know, she can tell them how and when she wants.

Since she has said being gay is not a big deal, that if she was gay she'd just tell you, I guess I tend to believe her, but I'm not trying to find out.

No, I think she is rich beyond belief. Think about it for one second, if she was gay what would be the harm in telling it. She has more money than all of us on Yahoo Answers put together so what will happen, she'll lose her job...she owns the #@%ing company, and I think if she did come out and say that she was gay, half of the stay at home moms (rich and poor) that watch her (millions) would decide that they were gay too. Nope I don't think so, if she was do you think she would go to bed with something as horrid looking as Stedman every night, I know I wouldn't!!!

NO I don't. She said herself that there is nothing wrong with being gay, and that if she was, she would just come out and say so. I tend to believe her, since she has been very public about much of her belief system and about loving our neighbor as ourselves.

It doesn't matter at all. She is a good person and that is enough.
