I've already done that and I recommend it for most fields. Check statistics in your field as to whether an advanced degree will increase your salary over time; in nearly all cases, you will be looking at better future earnings with an advanced degree. Beware of fields that are saturated with Master's degrees... the counselor at your campus can be helpful in guiding you to fields that offer more promise than others.
