Condoms are not even close to 100% effective. B/c pills are supposed to be about 95% effective if taken properly. But even they can be ineffective if you take antibiotics or some other medications. Condoms are way down on the list as far as being
effective. They can slide off in the middle of sex. The man has to hold the end of the condom that is nearest his body as he withdraws or his penis can slide right out of it. The condom can develop leaks.
It is far better than nothing, but as far as safe,? no. That is why using a condom is called "safer" sex. By the way, every thing I mentioned that can cause the woman to get pregnant, can also cause the woman to catch HIV and other SDTs.
Being on bc pills and using a condom is probably the safest, but nothing is 100%.
Excuse me, I forgot. Waiting until marriage is the safest.

98 point something percent safe. Remember no birth control is 100 percent safe. But using condom properly will prevent from getting sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. I know it sounds hokey. But believe me, it is just so easy to get STD. So easy. Be safe and responsible. Nowadays, I think it is essential to get one's partner tested. He/she doesn't want to get tested? Well, then you do the math of how much love there really is!!!

They're only like 99.8 percent safe if used properly! I would suggest getting on the pill if your going to become sexually active. You can never be to careful! I don't think that they are uncomfortable but my boyfriend does!

They're still not safe enough to protect you from STDs or unwanted pregnancy as most people can't put them on properly to save their life or end up splitting them. Just keep your legs shut until you grow up some more.
