I'm in love! It has the best reliability prognoses of any car in it's class except the Honda Civic JUST edges it out. Absolutely the most car for the money. I've owned vets and Audis and this car is more fun to drive than either. Good power and it handles like it's on rails. Mine is a Pearl White (only complaint is black interior) 3s 5 door, had it since April and have 6500 miles on it. We live out in the country(on REALLLLY twisty roads) and every time momma comes home she's got a big grin on her face. Priceless

I'm buying a new car this year. I'm looking for something in the 20,000's but not more than 25. The Mazda3 seems like a very good candidate. It's been getting acceptable reviews from auto critics and satisfied reviews from current owners. I personally like the 4-door sedan. It's a compact vehicle but still stylish and attractive unlike those other boxy-looking ones like the Prius, Echo, or Focus. They are plenty of interesting vehicles to chose from in the market right now but the key here is price and taste. For anyone looking for a mid-range sedan, they can try the always-popular Camry and Accord, or the Maxima, or the Acura TSX-- all under the 30 thousand but still not in the low 20's. If your looking for a low-range sedan, you can try the one in discussion- the Mazda3, or the Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan or the new Saturn Aura debuting this fall, which looks very interesting in comparison to most cars under the Saturn brand which are simply without taste. Note I leave the popular Honda Civic out because, frankly, I think the '06 Civic Sedan is plain ugly- just not my taste, but I did like the previous design. If you're interested in an affordable 2-door coupe, how 'bout the Civic Coupe? To my taste, I almost did not like the new design and it is the reason why I would buy the Mazda3 Sedan rather than the Civic Coupe. The Acura RSK, the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the new Pontiac G5 look very attractive and under 25k as well. If your thing is a convertible, than perhaps a Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice may look your way. They look very nice and fall in the low 20's as well. I have noticed in the car market that the least appealing cars are the cheapest ones. Maybe carmakers do that on purpose so that you stretch the extra buck and go for something more expensive. And I'm not comparing an expensive car vs. a cheap car here, which of course, the higher price should mean more power, more features and finer materials. I am looking at design and style, mainly the exterior of the vehicle and usually, interiors seem acceptable. Well, going back to the Mazda3. You couldn't go wrong buying this car. For the price listed, this car is well-equipped and offers a design and style you should not feel ashamed sharing the road with other cars and inviting your friends to ride with you. As any critic will tell you, most cars are well-built today and while someone may suggest you buy a popular brand as per say Toyota or Honda, under normal circumstances and proper maintenance and service, this car should last you just as good as good old Camry. So head to the dealership, if you haven’t done so, and give this baby a test drive and see what you think…

I own a 2005 mazda 3. I really enjoy driving this car. I have a 70 mile drive each day and this car makes the trip alot better than my Camry did. It's just fun to drive and good on gas.
