Clemens would be traded to either Boston or New York. He would not go anywhere else.

I am not sure that there are many teams that would give up anything (a prospect or two), for a guy who might not pitch next year. There is no guarantee that he will ever play again and he could then sign as a free agent with Houston again next year. That would be great for Houston, get prospects and then start over next year and be the front runner to re-sign Clemens. As much as he would help a team win the World Series, I would not want to give up prospects to have a guy for 3 months. But, you never know. The Yankees and the Red Sox would love to have him, it is just a question of what they would need to give up to get him.

HE WILL NOT BE TRADED!!!! Even if the Astros were to lose every game between now and the trade deadline, there is no way Clemens will get traded...

Who on earth, except a minor league team, would want the drama king of baseball? Clemens is all washed up, and he just doesn't know it yet. Don't worry, though. Soon we will be treated to yet another of his press conferences where he stumbles and bumbles his way along with one contradiction after another as he tells us he will be retiring AGAIN. Then stay tuned while he buffaloes Houston and other teams with his game playing again next year when he may sign in early July!!

The man has no honor!!

Chow!!

It's possible, but not likely.
If he went anywhere it would be to Boston who he almost signed with this offseason. Clemens loves the city (so does his wife) and left on bad terms, I'm sure he'd like to make up to the fans who it appeared he betrayed.

For anything to happen though it would take a VERY GOOD PROSPECT (Hansen, Delcarmen, Ellsbury, Lester, Pedroia)from Boston going to Houston, and I'm not sure the Sox want to part ways with any prospects.

I thought that he had a clause or something in his contract that said he only wants to play for the Astros...I could be wrong but thats what I thought.

Roger only does what Roger wants.
More likely he would trade away the rest of the team.

back to the Red Sox, so he can make his ending there better with the fans and Boston in general.
