well, you didn't say we had to use current players so... Magic Johnson (the passer) 10 times the passer of Williams, Jordan (the scorer), LeBron James (total package) he brings youth, passing, scoring, lil bit of defense, and alot of energy, Tim Duncan (team player) he won't complain if he doesn't get the ball and he brings some scoring and defense, and Wilt Chaimberlain (best ever) I don't care what people say about Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain is the best player ever, averaging over 52 ppg in a season and along with all of the other UNBELIEVABLE stats in his career when the game was predominantly dominated by Center and big men. And he is the only player who could match up with Shaq one-on-one.

Larry Bird v. Jordan-Bird is bigger
Oscar Robertson v. Iverson-Robertson would take AI to school with his ball handling ability and overall game
Bill Russell v. Shaq-Russell was a winner and would be the team leader
Pete Maravich v. J. Williams-Pistol was a 20x's better scorer and passer
Lew Alcindor v. Grant Hill-Has more size but, to me, just as athletic

I agree with Jordan and Iverson... but instead of the other three i would have pippen, rodman, and chamberlain.
Wilt plays center- better scorer, defender and more athletic than Shaq
Rodman plays PF- best rebounder of all of these, except Wilt, and does the things that need to be done to win.
Pippen plays SF- better scorer and athlete than Hill, can run the fast break a lot better.
Jordan plays SG
Iverson plays PG- better dribbler than Jason Williams, better leader, more heart, better stamina, better desire to win, not quite as good of a 3 pt threat but a lot better at driving and/or dishing.

A couple of these are pretty classic---

vs jordan-- magic johnson, larger size and more athletic
vs iverson-- pete maravich, great passer, ball handler, and pure shooter
vs shaq-- wilt chamberlain, more overall talent, "100 points"
vs j williams-- jason kidd, better passer, better leader
vs g hill-- larry bird, better defender

A little retro, but in their respective peaks, could give them a run for their money.

well you really can't put anyone against MJ but the closest is Kobe, but other than that this will be my lineup if i can't choose your players.

your team: MJ, AI, Shaq, J-Will, Grant Hill
My Team: Kobe, Scottie Pippen, Olajuwon, Magic, Bird
