yes there is a way. remember a few years back when newt gingrich was followed and his conversation was taped ( was a big scandal the person broke the law ( and it is illegal) but a scanner can pick up on phone signals, its somthing people usualy buy for scanning police frequenseies sold at radio shack. you can also if thats too expansive just buy a small tape recorder and place it under the seat of the persons car later retrieve it and you can hear one side of the conversation.... but if you distrust someone this much you shouldnt be around them good luck

Yes. 1. You can install a transceiver (bug) in the phone, to transmit the conversation to a relay. Then you can listen at leisure.
2. You can use a scanner to scan the broadcast frequency of the phone and pick up the signal that way.
3. You can get an identical phone and program it with the same IDs as his. When his phone rings, yours rings... etc.
There are tons of ways.... most of them illegal.

Nope not unless you are using your phone to tape a conversation. A trip to Radio Shack would set you up.

Well, the only thing I can suggest is get a copy of his bill and hope it has detailed billing and at least u know the numbers and duration of the calls.
