For just a single song, Bob Marley is hard to beat. Redemption Song is a good one, or No Woman No Cry.

For me it was always Pink Floyd's Animals.
It's amazing how long that album becomes after you passed the bong a few times.
Or the first couple of tracks from Dark Side of the Moon.
The worst thing I ever listened to was Frank Zappa. Dear God, I couldn't go to sleep fast enough.
