No. A lot of people like them and there is nothing wrong with that. Don't let them control your life and ruin any relationship that you might have. And if a girl doesn't want to watch them with you, that is fine and don't be mad if she won't. A lot of women won't watch them and if they do, they might not want to with anyone. Just remember that real life doesn't happen like in the movies. Especially those!
