Hillary was tallking about the poor down-troden US middle class, well, I have a question. Do the people of the middle class NEED most of the stuff we go into debt for these days?
Let's face it....cell phones for every member of a family, satalite/cable TV, high speed internet, cars for teens. . . . These are all choices that we make...so how can the Democrats try to make this the fault of the government...??? It's not a lack of income, but a lack of common sense!

Clearly we are creatures of unlimited desire living in a limited world. We will never live within our means unless we learn to desire less. That is not likely to happen anytime soon because the world power structure depends on using our consumption power.

And my question to you is---Do you own these things?? When I was a teen I had a car(paid my Dad money each week), I had the latest record player( it was a portable and went to the beach too) I had nice clothes. I grew up middle class at a time when middle class meant something. Everything today is so far out of sight in price that just to live you need to be higher than middle class. The rate of inflation(and profit by the companies) has overcome the pay raise rate by an enormous amount. When two people have to work to pay the bills something is wrong and the Democrats didn't get us here. When an oil company makes billions in profits and pays hundreds in taxes something is very wrong. When a CEO leaves a company with a Golden umbrella that would support a third world nation something is wrong. And you know what?? These people are not Democrats they are all, everyone of them Republicans. So don't knock Hilary at least she tries.
