My daughter is at camp for 1 week and wants to come home, should I go get her?

I would first ask her why she wants to come home. If it is because she is homesick, I would encourage her to stick it out. These short separations are actually good for both of you and even though she's not able to see that at this moment, she will get something out of the experience that she will be able to carry with her the rest of her life. If someone bails her out, you could be setting up a life long pattern of rescuing her and this could prevent the growth she needs to eventually become a strong, self-sufficient young lady.
There are times when we do need to bail our kids out, but it doesn't sound like this is one of them and may do more harm than good.
Best of luck!

No. That is the fun part of summer camp, it makes you homesick in the beginning then start to forget about it when you enjoy all the fun you are having.

If something else happens, like something bad happens to her, and she uses "homesick" to describe it to you, the you should find out about it and get her home immediately.

Otherwise, no. Homesick is normal, she should learn to cope with this feeling as a human being when she is young. Homesickness is part of human experience that one has to goes through in life.
