Okay. I should have remembered this. As we all know, some moon dust was returned from the moon.
And, I do think someone actually tried the sniff test.
I think I heard this on some cbc science program.
And you know, I do believe it smelled like cheese. I can't substaniate that, sorry.

Ummm, there's no air on the moon, so you can't breathe. If you can't breathe, you can't smell. But if you were somehow able to, I'd guess it really doesn't have much of a smell. Dust and rocks don't usually have an odor.

It has no smell, there is no air to convey a smell, but if it did I would expect it to smell of nothing as it would be free of any source of bacteria.
