I have read numerous news stories across the United States about how police officers have tasered children,senior citizens and even citizens that werent doing anything wrong but arguing with a police officer. According to Amensty International, more than 162 citizens have died after being tasered by police. Cops are using tasers so much because they think tasers cant kill a person. In the old days cops would just handcuff a person, now they taser you first then ask questions.

Many criminals are armed and dangerous. The tazer stuns but it doesn't kill. Sometimes an officer has little choice. It is better than being shot.

Also, in the old days, people didn't fight the police when they were about to be arrested. Things have changed. Times have changed.
Before a police officer can use a taser they have to be trained how to use it, just as with a gun. Some people just don't pass the test really well.
I would rather be tasered by an officer and risk getting killed, than be shot with his handgun and KNOW i'm going to die.
Oh, and you can't believe everything you read. What was the time frame of the 162 people being killed? Was it in a year, or since the taser was invented.

Right on! The police are gaining too much power over us common citizens, and they're abusing that power. This country is fast turning into a fascist police state, where the police and military will have complete power and authority over us. Look out!

These police are not MY police, I did not elect them, donot want to pay them and wish they would all be fired, I think the government is a criminal legal way to control the masses and they are going to send us all to a pit of fire.
Why do we pay criminals to defend us from criminals? Now with that said, I refuse to be assosiated with it, and I just live here that's all so requirement of being part of the Democratic PRISON is paying TAXES and this is illegal itself.

In the old days, the cops would crack a perps head with a night stick. The Tazer is a non-lethal method of stopping a suspect who REFUSES to obey a policeman's command. Do you value the suspect's life over the policeman's? Isn't it reasonable to ask citizens to obey police orders?

Wow, Amnesty is catering to criminals again, nothing new.
Tasers are great, they keep criminals under control and teach criminals a good lesson.

well its better than shooting them then ask questions, which i prefer lol,but we have a thing called the law & the dumb f@#&s at ACLU which says shooting them with a gun is wrong,so we zap them dumb a$$ criminals.
