I'd give him me - I'd volunteer to be a goodwill ambassador for relations between Earth and his planet and travel trhough space with him educating him and exploring. Ok, so I've always dreamed of going into space - but he doesn't need to know that does he? LOL

Acopy of the golden record carrying greetings from the peoples of the Earth to interstellar space abord Voyager 1 and 2 And of course, I give them the current coordinates of Voyagers 1 & 2 which are now far beyond Pluto, one heading above and the other heading below the orbital plane of the solar system to unknown reaches.

Before he takes it.. or me... you mean?
I'd hopefully communicate without mistrust and with an open mind, and trust that, since he's more advanced than us, as he got here from light years away, he'd teach me... and I'd be gob smacked and elated!
And know what... I have genuinely seen UFOs twice in my lifetime... and I know they do exist and life is out there... and if they were hostile, we'd have known it long ago.
We'd better hope that all our waring and damage to our atmosphere, isn't damaging the cosmos... and, that that's not the reason why they're here... because they've had enough!

I'd give them the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, I think it's the best example of what humans are.

I would give a shovelful of dirt. It contains tens of thousands of species of organisms, many that we have not yet classified. It would tell him all about Earthly life, the genetic code, and some of the diversity we have.
