Has anyone noticed Hotel California sounds a lot like the Jethro Tull song We Used To Know and was released shortly after the Eagles had toured as the support band for Jethro Tull...

2. Take it easy
3. Hollywood waltz
4. Hotel California..(the live version from the "Hell freezes over tour"

As regards to the best member, this is nearly as hard as picking 5 favourites (each one is great in their own way), but personally Joe Walsh with his great guitar playing and unique voice, just tips the scales for me.

OMG! That is the hardest question for me to answer, being as they are my all time favorite! (Thanks to Mom & Dad for continually putting their records on the Marantz stereo while I was an infant!) I must agree that Don Henley is by far the most outstanding member when you take into consideration not only his instrumental talents and vocal ability, but his songwriting- WOW. That is what makes him ABSOLUTELY incredible!
Here goes theTop 5:
5."Victim of Love"
4."Doolin-Dalton"
3."The Sad Cafe`"
2."One of These Nights"
1."On the Border"

Desperado, live on the Howard Stern Show sung acoustic by Joe Walsh. Other than that its all horrible.....the live show on about a year ago - sooooo boring. I'm with The Dude (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118715/) when it comes to the Eagles.
