My girlfriend has been stressed out at work recently, even though i haven't seen her in over a week and not spoken to her often on the phone she had a go at me today on the phone because she asked me to phone someone for her and i said no. Not because i was being lazy but because there was nothing i could do as she had to phone them. Why do women always take it out on their boyfriends when they are angry of stressed?

It's probably just emotions. They are angry and have to release anger soon. So they release it on the one closest to them. It's not your fault. Just comfort her and make her happy.

Know this will prob pass rite over your head but here goes--girls think of their boyfriend as someone they trust so surely he will understand when we bring our probs to him. If he acts as tho he doesn't care and is a jerk when we "take things out on him" as you term it then perhaps we weren't suited to each other. But if he really wants to help he could start by saying something like, "hey, I know this has been a bad time for you and I wish I knew what to say to make these things easier for you. I want to be here for you so you just talk it out and I'll listen." Then if you get a spark of inspiration or not, just hold her and let her know you are with her. Often she doesn't want advice she just wants a sympathetic ear and heart.

Its not just women who do that its all humans. We all tend to from time to time take out our frustrations and stress on the people that are the closest to us. That's just how it is. We all do it probably because we know these people will still be there for us after barking at them.

We don't take it out on you it's just sometimes boyfriend sor guys that try to hard make us mad and theres nothing eles to do but say are mad and bad feelings to you?
Maybe your girlfriends going through the same? take the time to be with her

i admit i do it to my boyfriend a lot of the time. it's just cause you're there and she knows you care about her and won't say anything when she rants. just listen, don't take it personally and be supportive. she will apologize for it later lol.
