I want to plan a very romantic day beginning with breakfast near a beach in California. Any suggestions.?

Start by taking a walk on the beach in the morning. Then make breakfast. It doesn't have to be fancy, it fresh fruit...cut up strawberries and mix them in with blueberries. Mimosas are easy to make by blending champagne and Orange juice. After that, watch a movie and cuddle up with each other, have a little nap. wake up by giving him/her a massage. Surprise him/her with a small gift, something thoughtful that you know they will like. It could be something as simple as a single rose or a love note or a picture of you two in a heart shaped frame. Go to dinner or a late lunch, make sure to ask if he/she wants a bit of what you have, and when you pull into the driveway once you get home, play a love song and sing it to him/her. Hold hands a lot and kiss him/her on the cheek throughout the day,.

Pacific Grove is beautiful, and you can have a wonderful breakfast either there or in Carmel, or at Lover's Point. Nice cool weather, foggy and overcast usually, with beautiful things to see. Small and quaint town. And usually not too expensive as far as rooms go. There's this nice lodge called Olympia Lodge that is not too expensive, and very cute. That's where I like to go anyway.
