Who's to say that another politician, say, David Cameron, or even Maggie Thatcher, would have done any different? The UK has, since the end of WW2 been the USA's ally both diplomatically and militarily. We may not like it at the present time but that's the way it is. It's not just Blair, it's the entire political establishment.

It would be more analogous to say Blair was Bush's guide dog in the darkness of ignorance. i for one am glad at least the UK are there to act as a moral reminder to this US administration
