Pirated works have to be reported to the copyright holder or representative, whether published books, artworks or software. If someone is selling bogus DVDs, CDs etc. the police probably would send their fraud squad out. If someone is selling pirated works on one of the internet auction sites do not bother to complain to their managment: they will only tell you that the copyright holder has to contact them. So you see you should tell the person whose work is being stolen.
