Gladiator, with Aladdin coming in at a close second. Gladiator was quite historically inaccurate, but it wasn't touted as being accurate in any sense of the word anyway. The acting and the plot where still remarkably good though, and that's all that matters. Third would be Shawshank Redemption.

The Way We Were ---- Streisand and Redford

My dear (departed from HIV) second husband, dedicated this movie to me (us), long before he contracted this dread virus (transfusion for hemophilia) - and died in '95.

He and I were Redford and Streisand, in real life --- him the gorgeous, blonde, muscular Navy man in white. . . me the frumpy brunette, social activist, who couldn't care less about high society and propriety. And yes, we also parted painfully -

I laugh and cry again, each time I replay this flick - without him.
