What looks better mascara on both your top lashes and bottom lashes or just on top?

I like to put mascara on my top lashes only because I always end up smearing my bottom lashes somehow. Still trying to figure when and why................

I think it would look better just on the top. A lot of magazines say putting it on the bottom lashes is a fashion no-no. But I've only worn mascara once but that was for an ad...I personally don't like it.

I read a book that said to only put mascara on your to lashes unless the bottom ones look faded after you do the top.

Mascara on top and bottom is best. What I do is use any thickening mascara on my top lashes and a waterproof type on the bottom lashes. My bottom lashes are long also, and if I don't use waterproof mascara, I get thick black lines under my eyes from the mascara rubbing off. Mascara on top and bottom will make you eyes look larger and give you a neater and more finished look.

I personally feel that mascara looks better on the top lashes because if you don't wear foundation to keep makeup in place it can easily run if it were placed on the bottom lashes making you look like a racoon. I also think that mascara on the top lashes makes your eyes appear wider.

I put it on top only most of the time. You can put it on the bottom lashes also. I hold the end of the wand and go sideways back and forth across the lower lashes. If you use to much, get an eyebrow brush that has a comb on it, and you can comb some of the clumping off.

It depends on the look i'm going for, but I usually put more on top than I do on bottom lashes

i just put mascara on the top of my eye lashes and for the bottom eye lashes i use a eye liner.lol

If you want an everyday look, yes, just your top. For a little drama, or to look like the now-retired supermodel "Twiggy" yes, do both. For a ton of drama and excitement, do fake lashes on top, or top and bottom.

i read in a magazine that you only need to put on mascara on your top lashes... doesn't make a difference if you put it on your bottom ones.

i usually just put it on the top because it doesn ;t make a difference if i put it on the bottom lashes .
