A degree in Psychology only guarantees how much you are willing to do with it. I have a degree in Psychology and when I first graduated could not find a decent job. I eventually was hired to be a Social Worker with the local County Department of Social Services. I will not complain about the money as it buys everything I need to live a comfortable life. I don't regret not working in the Psyc field as my job is very rewarding. So do what you have to and never believe that a degree will lead to the welfare line as it is what you do with what you have not what you don't do that leads you down the road of success.

I think this is probably a facetious question I thought a degree in anything condemned you to a life on welfare or as a garbage collector/dustbin man for a fair while.
If you want worse, like nightmaresville, then most degrees in ANYTHING will get you a job in accountancy.

I think if you only get a Bachelor degree in Psych, you wont make very much money. I have a BS in Pych and have realized that to make money I need to have a Masters degree or Ph.D. I am starting in August to get a Masters degree in School Counseling. It is only a 2 1/2 year program..so its not that bad!
