Keep it all simple!!!
You probably don't need to wear makeup, but if you really want too then things like concealer, pressed powder and a little blush are always good to have on hand. Eye shadows are fun, but keep the colors light and simple (pinks and neutrals are good). For mascara, I'd go with more of a lash tint (Neutrogena makes some great ones) than a full on mascara. Lip colors that are sheer or clear make the best glosses.
Hair styles: ponytails are perfect. Not only do they keep the hair out of your face, but you can create different styles with them (for instance, use some cute clips or bobby pins or hair ties, or you can create a wrapped pony tail by taking a piece of hair from under your pony tail and wrapping it around the pony tail).
The most important thing to remember is to keep it simple. You're young, you don't need to overdue it. Also, if you do start wearing makeup, make sure that you use a good cleanser every night and that you get all the makeup off. Taking care of your skin is the best advice that anyone can give you to help you look your best. And of course, never share your makeup (especially your eye makeup) with other people. Find the colors that look best on you, not necessarily the "trendy" colors. Makeup is fun to play around with so you should have fun. Hairstyles are also fun to mess around with, just don't overdue it.

I was in sixth grade last year. Maybe just being your self is all your need. other than that um... does your school have a make up code? if so you shouldn't but if you really want to wear makeup get the kind your feel more comfortable with. I would recomend Lip Smackers. Its great make up for your age! And maybe try your hair down or in a pony tail . Always will be great!

Don't go overboard with makeup, just try some mascara and lip gloss. I remeber when I went to 6th grade, 3 years ago, girls and sometimes even guys would make fun of girls with really noticible makeup on.

Don't go overboard with makeup-you want to show your natural self. If you're girly, I suggest a pink lipgloss, some pinky/rosy blush, and thats it. If you're more boho/natural, I say a brown eyeshadow, tinted lip balm, and a light bronzer. You can mix and match, its all up to you! For fashion, if you're girly, I say a cute jean mini skirt, and a funky top. Also, cute accesories. Necklaces, chandelier earrings, and cute hair clips. If you're boho, I say a cute, loose, flowy top, and skinny jeans, and some cute boots. For hair, if you're girly go with curls, a high ponytail, or straight and down. If you're more boho, go with natural waves [get John Freida ocean waves] and spray it in your hair and scrunch. Good Luck with 6th grade, and never forget your smile!!!

well i am a junior in highschool one thing i learned make your make up look natural i thought dark makeup and bright colors were cool all the time but i just looked like a fool. wear natural tones you can splash some color in there but only in moderation at this age just dont try to look older it makes you look younger sometimes trust mei was in 6th grade once!

Hey wats up my name is Helen and im going to 8th grade .. ok well ..
dont over do your make up people will really make mean "comments" over everything you do / say ! but dont worry as long as your with your friends who cares right ? have fun in 6th grade its so much fun going to middle school just watch out ! and if you think there is nothing to do .... trust me in 7th and 8th grade you will get more "involved" have fun and enjoy it .. who cares what people think !!!! ... hope i helped thx bye

You have your natural beauty and I'm sure you don't want to cover it up with makeup, but if you do, just use a light lip gloss. You have all your life honey to wear makeup. Besides, makeup causes pimples.

oh my gosh you sound like me but i am going in to junoir high there was always a rule that i could never were makeup but i would sneak a little blush here and there it is called bare esintial or something like that it is light so knowone can tell you are wearing make up and it does not dry out your skin

go natural with light pinks and blues on the eyes. o and ALWAYS carry a clear lip gloss around. it will save u! trust me don't go overbord cuz that looks " made up" im going in 8th so ya trust me
