Of course there is. Batman 2, the tenative title, is set for release sometime in 2008. Christopher Nolan, the director of Batman Begins, and Christian Bale are reported to be signed on for the project. No news yet if Cillian Murphey is going to reprise his role as Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow and which actor is going to portray The Joker.

Not only is there going to be another Batman movie, but it was reported in entertainment news today that Heath Ledger has signed on to play the Joker...no joke about that!
How can they redo a part played so expertly by Jack Nicholson??? And Heath Ledger??? Huh?

Yes, because at the end of batman begins that policeman gave him the joker so in the next batman the joker is going to be in it.

Good lord, I hope not. I haven't liked one of them yet! I heard years ago that Jason Scott Lee was supposed to star as Bruce Lee in a film about the Green Hornet, but that plan was scrapped.
