i've had an aweful day. i went to this tiny little shop and got to the checkout line and my debit was denied. apparently the bank has done a little blunder, but it was still really embarrassing and a huge hassel. i just got so adgravated and i came home and cried. my boyfriend (and dad) is always trying to keep little tabs on me and see how i spend my money and this just gives him an excuse to have something to rub in my face and act like i'm a silly little irresponsible girl. i dont know why i'm so depressed about it. i just felt bad today anyway, and didn't feel like going in the first place and then all that had to happen. i know it shouldn't be a big deal, but it was. and i was wondering if this had happened to anybody else...? i just want someone to cheer me up really. any words of encouragement or anything to make it seem less bad..? i just dont know why i'm taking this so hard. i know it is a small thing compared to other things. but its just running all over me

It's happened to me a few times...hey being irresponsible is a part of growing up. I'm not saying that you are, as you said this was the bank's blunder. I just look at the cashier and said, "guess I spent more money at the bar last night that I remember!" and walk out...oh well not that big a deal I'll come back when I do get the money =)

Last Christmas, I went to Target to get my Christmas tree and all the trimmings that go on the tree, along with a few additional items, now we all know how busy department stores can be a Christmas time and how long the lines are. I had just gone to the bank prior to Target and deposited CASH into my checking account, so I knew that money was there, anyway, got up to the checkout line and my debit card was DENIED for insufficient funds, I was so SHAME! I even went as far as showing the cashier my deposit slip so she could see that I wasn't lying. So to make a long story short I had to ask the cashier to hold my things and I had to travel all the way across town to the bank and come to find out the bank rep. forgot to process my deposit and when he seen me walking up with a not so pleasant look on my face, He immediately knew what I was there for and began working hastily on the computer and by the time I made it up to him he replied, "Everything is done and your funds are showing up now," before I could even say anything. So then, i had to go back to the store and was finally able to get my stuff! I was so imbarrassed I ended up cutting my Christmas shoping short and call it a Day! And as for that boyfriend of yours, he needs to learn to be more considerated of your feelings and learn how to talk to you with respect about ya'lls finances, because when it all boils down to it, it's all in HOW you say it! God Bless You.

Sorry but I'm more aggressive than that. If the bank was in error I'd of been at that bank raising hell. As for the b/f I'd tell him I don't need anyone keeping tabs on me and he can kiss my *** as this relationship is over. I'd be rubbing something in his face alright....my middle finger.

jogged my memory of something I said on Discovery Channel. thousands of penguins sliding and jumping into the sea to capture the fish because the faculty swam previous the spot they watched from. Clumsy creatures till they enter their ingredient, then they went about their job with mushy ease. large visualization in this poem.

Worse things have happened. As long as they don't kill you, you can handle it...and no...it's never happened to me.
