I haven't been tracking the pot market for some years now, but back when I did, I think an 1/8 was about $75, so that would be $600 an ounce. Just a little shy of what gold is worth.

it depends on where you live- for example, in seattle- an ounce of marijuana can cost anywhere from 260 to 320 dollars. If gold is worth 300 dollars an ounce, then yes- often times, hydroponically grown marijuana is worth it's weight in gold

Gold is 300$ per once or 11$ per gram.
I have no idea what Marijuana goes for thee days, but I would imagine that high end stuff is worth more.
