How do tv stations know how many people watched a certain show that night?? They always use it for their ratings. How do they know I tuned into their station for 1 hour?

dont let anyone kid you we are being watched. You be surprised at how much the government knows and television is under their control.

There are these things called the Neilson Ratings. They pay people to fill out these forms for them. Then these people send those forms into Neilson once a week. That's how they know what the rating was for that week.

Neilsen Rating Services still use the Box, tracking viewing habits, so from that, they can extrapolate out what was going on in American at any given time.
