Only 2 Marine Corps marathons, but I remember thinking how easy it was when I crossed the line at the nd each time, I am shooting for an ultra my next go around. You need to log in the miles to build up to that for sure, but a lot of it is in the mind as well.

My hubby ran a half marathon (13 miles) in Detroit last October. He is thinking of doing it again this year and maybe the full 26 miles. For me.... No thank you! I think jogging 4 miles on the treadmill is brutal. So how many marathons have YOU run? (Include the answer in your comments when you vote for Best Answer, okay?) thx.

I have actually ran two marathons in one day, but I would say a total of around 50 marathons total

None yet, but I just started training for a half-marathon this morning. 1 day down, 12 weeks to go!

I've run one marathon in a completely average time of 4:10:00, which is kind of odd because I utterly despise running.

Just one, but unfortunately, I had to walk some. That was enough. Made me realize you can run half-marathons comfortably on sensible weekly training.

None, but I did run up the Zugspitz...the highest mountain in Germany. 11.25 miles. Next year...The Berlin Marathon!

I haven't done any. I don't care for running. I have done a 20 mile walk a few times. There was lots of goodies on the way at various stores and trucks and a party half way through.

Zero. Toooooo long, although I admire those that have the mental and stamina strength to do so. Have ran three 5-k runs, and that is far enough for me.
