Why does this bug me? There are plenty of good restaurants in Downtown Detroit and the surrounding area. Any good ones you want to share? Thanks.

Sweet Georgia Brown...great "soulish" type of food (gotta try the lobster tower)

Coach Insignia...top of the Ren Cen

Pegasus in Greektown...lamb kabobs and rosa maria...mmmm...

There are so, so many awesome and original restaurants...too many to name.

Uh, hello, McFly, anybody home?

Check out Dining Out, United States, Detroit.

By the way,

Lafayette Coney Island

Turkey Grill

Johnnies Ham King

Nip and Tuck

For great, low down Detroit fare.

By the way, please dont list anything in Greek Town. Its all canned peas, canned tomatos, probably canned ground beef. Its horrible.

If you want great restaurants in the Detroit area, try Windsor - Chinese, Vietnames, Italian, etc.

The high end casino restaurants are good too.

The listed cities likely represent the top 30 cities, based on population.

Also, there may be some good places to eat in downtown Detroit, but how many bullets do I have to dodge to eat there?

I lived in MI a very long time ago. When we go to visit there or OH I still always eat at Friendly's. :)

Detriot has one, but there are not any for states, instead they go by larger cities.
