That documentary was a hoax to promote The Village. It was really ridiculous. I believe it said things like every picture ever taken of him has weird images all around him and that he drowned in a pond in the dead of winter in Pennsylvania when he was a kid and was revived at a hospital, but was dead of hours!

He is called M. Night Shyamalan and so far he did following films:

Lady in the Water (2006),
The Village (2004)
Signs (2002)
(Unbreakable (2000)
Stuart Little (1999) (screenplay)
The Sixth Sense (1999)
Wide Awake (1998)
Praying with Anger (1992)

When he says the movies have some sort of truth, he refers to the characters, names, situations. But certainly not the screenplay.

No but he throws in a lot of weird stuff that's real, like in the Six Sense, he made the people who saw dead people have a strip of grey hair, because anybody who goes through a tramatic experience usually gets one of these.

Personally I think he's movies are getting terrible.. You had a great movie like 6sense...then you got Lady in the Water? looks horrible

Sixth sense was a fantastic movie. Others turned out to be duds.

yeah, they're based off of stories he's read or heard in real life.

Except for "I see dead people." his movies have all sucked. What kind of farmer doesn't own a gun? (Signs) Please.
