there is a good chance that you might get an irritation from the unclean waters. if you must go, try not to get sand, or lake water near your ears. also keep you cleaning solution near by so that you can clean your ears if they do get exposed.

i would suggest not putting yourself at chance for infection, you could end up with really ugly infection scars.

use your best judgement, or ask your mom for her advise too.

Well, it sure can get infected after being in that dirty water just keep it clean each time you get out of the water clean it with alcohol they make the alcohol pkgs that all you have to do is open and use ... about 50 in a box convenient for the lake. If you do this it should be fine. If it starts looking infected clean with peroxide first then the alcohol... Have Fun!

No. Just be sure the jewelry stays in and that when you get out of the lake, you clean the earring really, really well. You should be fine as long as you avoid cleaning with peroxide, bactine and alcohol. Mild antibacterial soap and soaks with a warm SEA SALT water mixture are best.

as long as you're often healthful, look after it, shop on with aftercare instructions and pass to a good piercer you will possibly desire to be high quality. Did you get your ears carried out with a gun? if so, it fairly is why it grew to become contaminated. Cartilage piercings take longer to heal than nostril and monroe piercings. They take a similar quantity of time to heal as a navel piercing, that's around 6-3 hundred and sixty 5 days. With the monroe piercing, your mouth is truthfully somewhat sparkling - it fairly is commonly generating new (good) micro organism. additionally with the monroe you look after it slightly in a various way - you will possibly desire to do sea salt soaks for the exterior and rinse with alcohol-loose mouthwash for the interior. For a navel, ear and nostril piercing you in simple terms do the sea salt soaks two times an afternoon, and pass away it on my own.

The belly button is most likely to get infected. What you do is mix salt and water and disinfect with that. Also, lemon and water work well. Polysporin from the drug store is fine too, but definitely use salt and water. No alcohol! This dries you up!

it shouldn't get infected. however make sure that you clean it properly after you get out. also a shower probably would help, as the soap from washing your hair, will clean it also. then put the cleaner given to you on after your shower and it will be as good as new. saline solution for contacts is the best type of cleaner.
