My budddy got a flat tire yesterday and he didn't have a donut so we had to leave it on the on the street because it was a Sunday and everything was already closed. Anyway my question is what would you do in this situation...would you have to go buy a donut or could you buy a single tire that fits your car and than just have it balanced and weighted at the mechanics later? He does not have AAA or anything so towing it would be really a last resort.

The tire is too badly damaged to try filling with air and driving. The only reason he doesn't have a spare is because he broke down in South Carolina (we live in PA) and he had to drive over 50 miles on the spare before he could get to the hotel. It was also a Sunday when he broke down and everything was closed again hehe. Don't worry we have been teasing him about the Sunday breakdowns nonstop since it happened again. Anyway he just forgot the spare got trashed after the trip. So i guess he will remember now.

Not sure where you are or how old the vehicle is. But most junkyards have rims that will fit most makes and models. They sell them relatively cheap and sometimes even with a tire mounted already on them. I have done this several times in the past. They also have the donuts as you call them and usually let them go pretty cheap. So check around and good luck.

Might be a good idea to have a spare tire of some sort. Plus a small Air Compressor that you can plug into the Cigeratte lighter to air it enough to get somewhere. might have to air it a time or so depending on how fast the leak is. But you need a spare...

I have had this happen and I just bought a new single tire-you can get one as cheap as $50. Hoewever, your friend should eventually get a spare in the event that he gets a flat on the road because it's a LOT cheaper than a tow job!!

How about find a friend with a car, driver over to the site, pull the tire, get new tire mounted, take it back to the car, put it on, then drive away?

Depending on the severity of the leak, it may be possible to use a can of fix-a-flat in the tire to inflate it enough to move it off the street, or possibly to a shop where the tire can be fixed or replaced.

you obtain a set of serious solutions, so i will purely upload one ingredient. there's a wide huge difference between dressing horny, and dressing slutty. i'm a grown lady with small breasts, and each and every thing I placed on exhibits that i'm almost flat on excellent. yet I placed on each and every thing with self assurance, smile plenty, and meet human beings's eyes. and that i have never had any hardship attracting men.

Get the tire fixed, patch it up. (Usually, there are a lot of small tire places around the corners)

He might be able to have the tire repaired or I would just buy another tire.
