is she too mean or just fair?

She's mean for a reason. I read one of her books where she talks about all the years she worked in family court and there were a lot of cases where the system didn't work the way she wanted it to, and she ended up having to make rulings she wasn't happy with. Like cases where juveniles committed serious crimes but got a slap on the wrist. I have respect for her.

Judge Judy rules -- The people on the show deserve her snappy remarks. Most of them are uh.. idiots for the most part.

I think she's great. She tells it like it is, and you know where you stand with her. She lets you know right away what she will and will not tolerat, and what you can and cannot get away with. We need more people like her in the world, because we ahve too many people beating around the bush and sugar-coating everything. It's sickening. No wonder people don't know where they stand with each other.

i think judge judy has a very bad attitude! she needs to remove the stick from her butt!

She's great. She's only mean when the person deserves it. And she's funny, too. Also like People's Court.

I think she is very rude. If the litigants talked to her the way she does to them, she'd charge them with contempt and throw them out. She could do without all of the name calling.

She can be pretty mean sometimes. But if you don't lie to her and act professionaly in her courtroom she does treat you fair.

I think she's gotten way bitchier over the years. By the way, have you seen her husband? I'm surprised he's survived this long.

i love her. she is both mean and fair, and i would not want to be on the receiving end because then, it won't be funny, and her short temper is funny as hell!!
